Alan Lowe, co-host of American POTUS, is the Director of The National Museum of American Presidents. He started his career as an archivist at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum, before going to serve for many years at the Office of Presidential Libraries in Washington, D.C. He has subsequently served as director of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum, the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum, and the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum. Alan also was the founding executive director of the Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He serves as the director of the American Museum of Science and Energy, and the K-25 History Center, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
